Exit at J38. Take the A685 to Kirkby Stephen. From Kirkby Stephen take B6259. Continue on B6259 through Nateby. After about 3 miles Pendragon castle (ruin) will be on your right. Keep on the road for another approx. 150 metres and turn left into the lane - there is a small sign for Pendragon View by the road side. Drive over 2 cattle grids and the cottage is on the left.

Take the A66 west from Scotch corner to Brough. Turn south at Brough on the A685 towards Kirkby Stephen. In Kirkby Stephen turn left at the traffic lights onto Nateby Road (B6259). Continue on B6259 through Nateby. After about 3 miles Pendragon castle (ruin) will be on your right. Keep on the road for another approx. 150 metres and turn left into the lane - there is a small sign for Pendragon View by the road side. Drive over 2 cattle grids and the cottage is on the left.
